Dr. Katsia Cadeau
Dr. Katsia Cadeau is an award-winning educator, community leader, author, researcher, and motivational speaker. She is passionate about the topic of educational policy and leadership.
She is currently a Professor and the Director of the Education Department at St. Thomas University in Miami Florida. She is also certified by the Florida Department of Education in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, ESOL, ESE, Reading, and Educational Leadership at all levels.
Katsia has presented her research at numerous National Educational Associations and published numerous peer-review quantitative and qualitative research.
Katsia has been an invited keynote speaker at numerous school events such as graduations, STEM Day, Career Day, Florida Atlantic University, and Youth Empowerment Seminar.

In 2020, A Collaboration among a South Florida University and Local School Districts to Improve Teacher Retention, which was later published in 2020’s issue as a Qualitative Case Study- based on a 53-million-dollar Federal grant awarded in partnership with Broward County Public Schools.

Dr. Cadeau has launched a Teachers Certification program, which has helped retain teachers in the classroom. Katsia is the advisor and founder of the Future Teachers of America at St. Thomas University. Serving the community comes naturally.
For over 10 years, she ran a tutoring program at Lively Stone Church of Miami to educate students in the inner-city area and teach English to English as Second Language learners. She also coordinates different programs to give away turkey and food to the less fortunate and the homeless.
Dr. Cadeau has managed and operated the Lively Stone Church of Miami daily operations for over 20 years. She is the Chief Financial Officer. She also plans and directs all aspects of an organization's operational policies, objectives, initiatives. Responsible for the attainment of short and long term financial and operational goals. Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Dr. Cadeau has been running an educational, talent, government, and research consulting organization for over 15 years.
In addition, she works with School Board Member, Vice Chair Dr. Steve Gallon III, as a community engagement specialist in the city of North Miami.
